Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Graphic Consultant?
I strive to be a one-stop shop for small to medium graphic design projects, stock art research and sourcing, and content/copywriting for individuals and small businesses. It isn’t quite right to say I’m only a graphic designer, nor am I a full-time marketing consultant or writer. What I am is a great teammate for the short or long term, who can guide you through idea development, presentation, and marketing strategy. Together we’ll create all the bits (logos, icons, hero images) and pieces (website copy, profile bios, email series) you’ll need along the way.

Who have you worked with?
Without the enthusiastic consent of a business or client, I am reluctant to share details like this in a public forum. I value discretion and privacy, and part of my role is helping others to shine without taking credit for their presence. References are available upon request.

I don’t know exactly what I need – is it a good idea for us to work together?
It is! Part of our initial conversation (either by email or Google Meet) will be talking about your business or idea, how you envision it being received, and where you would like to take it. This will help me to come up with an outline of a plan, specific deliverables, and an idea of how many project hours will be required to make it real. We will agree on a timeline and budget before any billable hours take place.

Can I hire you to do just design (just copywriting, etc.)?
Absolutely. I’m always glad for one-off freelance projects, and you can get an idea of my rates for specific design, photo editing, copywriting, and strategy development here. I welcome questions or inquiries about these services.
